Spencer Hobson joined Hartshorne & Mehl in 2023 after articling at a small full-service firm in North Vancouver. During his articles, Spencer appeared in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. He earned his law degree from the University of Victoria. Spencer obtained his Bachelor or Arts from Simon Fraser University where he majored in history and minored in archeology. 

Spencer’s approach to litigation employs careful analysis of facts and law as well as balanced and persuasive negotiation in pursuing results most catering to his clients’ needs. Spencer believes in placing himself in the other party’s shoes in order to achieve the best results for his clients.

Outside of work, Spencer enjoys skiing and getting into the outdoors. When Spencer is at home he enjoys spending time with his three cats.
